The studio offers shared equipment, a material library, fellowships, and mentorship for emerging artists and practitioners. Through structured time alongside Professor Pitika Ntuli and visiting masters, fellows learn to work with bone, bronze, metal, stone, wood, and found objects — not as technique alone, but as a way of thinking with material. Mentorship pairs young makers with elders so that craft, story, and ethic are passed on together, ensuring that what is made in the studio carries the lineage forward.
